Week 1: Getting started and assessment

In this week, we start sort of softly and ease into the program with a program overview, assessment, and start setting goals. This week's focus is to obtain an honest picture of where you are at currently. It will help you measure progress and more clearly show growth areas needed. It is hard to be honest with ourselves at times, but this is super important to growth! It also contributes to getting super rewarding results because we can now better measure improvement. Gentle steps tend to help people be more successful than having to make huge changes all at once. If you are one who likes to jump in 100% all at once, take heart, this method has been proven successful and you will definitely have opportunities to make bigger changes soon!

Week 2: Nutrition 101--Nutrition Basics and Micronutrients

Most people have no idea how such a "little" thing like vitamin deficiencies could be wreaking havoc on their health and weight. Often during the assessment, people discover they are only getting a fraction of the recommended amounts of many nutrients. By uncovering these deficiencies and correcting them, many symptoms seem to magically improve! What we don't know does hurt us. This is actually a WAY more important topic than most people are aware of, and a KEY difference that sets this particular program apart from other programs. Most programs focus on "macro" nutrients, such as Calories, protein, fat, and/or carbohydrates, but ignore general nutrition in the way of vitamins and minerals that run the pathways in our body that use those nutrients. When these vitamins or other nutrients are deficient, we not only do not feel well, have poor energy, or other health issues, but we may not lose weight, either, due to inability to properly run these metabolic systems in our body. This week is full of solid content and has two different video versions available, an abridged as well as longer, more complete version. We will discuss more about each of them in the program.

Week 3: Nuts and Bolts of Common Weight Issues, including Fasting, Meal Schedule, and Basics of Weight Management

Most people intentionally try to lose weight at least some point in their life, and for many people today, it is practically a constant battle. In this week, we will cover hot topics that affect weight as well as overall health, such as meal schedule, intermittent fasting, sleep, and hydration. Even if excess weight does not happen to be an issue for you, you will still find relevant applicable information that can improve overall heart health and general health, with simple practical steps you can start taking today to feel better and be well!

Week 4: The Single Most Important ACTION (Hint: Think Activity) You Can Do For Your Health and Weight!

If you were only willing to make ONE change, this week holds the secret for what would bring you the best results long term overall for your health and weight. Not only does this contribute towards long-term health and weight loss success, but it can help right away with mental clarity and brain fog, help you have better moods, improved sleep, and be healthier now. Health should be fun, and this week's topic is no exception and aims to help you be healthier, and enjoy it.

Week 5: Dispelling Common Food Myths that Can Radically Improve Your Life! Myth-busting: What's the Sweet on Fruit, and more

Have you been told fruit is bad for you? That it will make you fat? Give you Diabetes? It's "just sugar?" We will explore these myths as well as help you with new goals that could greatly impact your health and weight loss journey overnight. Are you tired of being hungry all the time? Do you struggle with sweet cravings? Binging? This week's topic could help change that for you!

Week 6: Refined Robbers -- Grains

Are you being robbed of good nutrition? What if someone stole a $20 bill out of your hand and gave you $5 instead? How would you feel? Well, you might be doing that to your body every day without knowing it like so many others! However, if you could have that full and complete nutrition your body craves, you might just find you have more energy, satiety after eating, lose weight more easily, and without going hungry!

Week 7: Top Diet Recommendation of 40 Diets

Which diet is best? How do the various diets compare with each other on ease of use, health benefits, safety, etc.? Hear which diet I recommend the most often and why. You will be given an easy implementation tool that you can start using immediately which many find to be positively life-changing! Tired of meal planning? Tired of opening the fridge or pantry, hoping something will jump out at you and say, "Eat me!?" Tired of not knowing what to eat or how much? Struggle no more! This week I share a simple tool that takes stress out of the meal planning and makes filling your plate easy, with a tool you can utilize no matter where you are.

Week 8: Kiss Goodbye Common Weight Loss Hangups and Take Charge of Your Life--General Principles of Weight Management

Ready to conquer your weight? This week digs deeper into the roots of why you are where you are, and will help you grab onto success and mastery instead of despair. This week will address binging, a hunger scale, portion control, and other behaviors successful people practice who achieve and/or maintain a healthy weight, as well as being key in longevity.

Week 9: Fats

Do I really need to eat low-fat or fat-free foods the rest of my life? No! Your body actually needs some fat to survive. This week will examine what fats you may want to include, which you might want to minimize, how much to eat and what types, and how to use fats healthfully, including tips on frying and more. Including the right amounts and of the right types of fat can help prevent heart disease, help brain health, and, are you ready...? and help you lose weight faster than without them!

Week 10: Longevity and Blue Zones

More on those 40 diets... What about keto, paleo, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Mediterranean,
Ornish, Atkins, Vegan, or other diets? We will look at the Blue Zones and factors associated with longevity. We will also look at a few culprits that can cause disease many have not thought of. This week will help you live your best now and going forward.

Week 11: Protein and Its Role, along with Specific Categories of Proteins such as Legumes and Soy

Protein is often pushed by weight loss programs as the key to lose weight. We will explore that idea this week and look at protein, its functions in the body, and typical recommended levels. We will also explore some specific protein sources, such as from legumes and soy. Soy is a hot topic that many avoid! Is soy safe? We will explore the topic of soy in depth and how much may or may not be safe or healthful to consume. This week also includes a food demo and recipe you may want to try at home!

Week 12: Review and Summary

Next steps from here.... This week aims to tie everything together, summarize, and make sure you have a strong plan going forward that will work for you. We will review the key points from the entire program into one simple summary to help make it easy for you to understand and pull it all together.

How long do I have access to the videos & program materials?

You have access to the program for six (6) months from the date of purchase. However, it is strongly recommended to follow through the course weekly as suggested to ensure the best outcomes. The materials are available to you an additional three months past the 12-week program for your convenience to re-view them as desired.

How long are the videos?

The videos vary in length, but in order to keep this manageable for busy people, they are usually around 15-20 minutes, with a few exceptions shorter and longer. The goal is not to take more of your time than necessary while still helping you get great results.

What is the refund policy?

Due to the nature of this program being instantly accessible, no refunds are given once purchased. However, if you are unhappy for any reason, please reach out so efforts can be made to resolve the issue as your satisfaction is important.

Will I get access to a dietitian?

The content is produced by a registered dietitian nutritionist, but this program is a view-only program which does not include one-on-one visits. If you are interested in individual appointments, please reach out to arrange that privately or consider a coaching package add-on with this online course.

What if I want individual nutrition counseling/coaching sessions?

There are a limited number of openings for adding on individual coaching sessions with Kathryn at a special rate as part of this program. You will have the option to add coaching sessions on to your order at checkout, subject to availability.
